Americans Please Watch if Can Handle

Glenn Beck is starting an intense numerous shows on the war that we have been engaged in for the last couple of years.

Also, www.bordermovie.com    again, if you can handle it.

President Bush claimed that we would send Military troops anywhere in the world, where American citizens were at danger.

That is, all but in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California.  In those states, american citizens have to fight the war, against the mexican military and government, without the help of our federal government or our military.

At least, not the military yet, but just wait and see.

Because they come here and abuse our system.  If something doesn't pick my pocket or break my leg I'm fine with it - but they literally are picking the American taxpayer's pocket when they come over illegally.  What's so wrong with going through the effort to at least officially join the citizenry if they want to be here so bad?

I really couldn't give a fuck less about illegal immigration right now. There are much more pressing drains on the public purse right now, such as the so-called "War on Terror," which of course is only serving to make the threat of terrorism worse. Also, what people like Glenn Beck and Lou Dobbs fail to realise is that the way our economy is structured right now, it depends on illegal immigrants being employed for less than the minimum wage. If they all were deported, we'd see vast amounts of inflation, and that would hurt the middle class Dobbs claims to care so deeply about. The way to fix the immigration problem is not to introduce even *more* restrictive guidelines into how to get into the country, but actually to *remove* the needless paperwork and bureaucracy, then enforce the rules we have rigorously. Also, punish corporations caught hiring illegal immigrants so much that it costs more to hire illegal immigrants than it does to hire legal residents. Right now they only get a slap on the wrist.
