The USA is a big market for industrial hemp.  We currently subsidize farmers to grow shit we don't need like corn, while prohibiting them from growing something that we actually DO need and DO USE - we import it from other countries, and yet prohibit our farmers from growing it.  Legalization would help alleviate our trade deficit somewhat.

There isn't a fucking market for synthetics.  Do you even know what hemp oil, hemp seed, etc is? No, you obviously don't.  It is an ingredient in many foods, and it is fucking healthy.  I'm not going to eat some shitty synthetic horse shit instead of healthy omega-3 laden hemp just because you stupid fucks don't understand it.
