... America goes to war in the middle-east. The price of gas increases, as the middle-east becomes volatile. As the price of gas rises, the fervor for alternative fuel-sources increases. Corn-oil, a popular alternative (oxymoron?) is developed into a very good fuel, which increases the value of corn. The second use of corn creates a higher demand of corn, raising its price. Since corn gets expensive, feeding livestock gets expensive. Since feeding livestock is expensive, the yield of livestock becomes expensive; making a gallon of milk costs four goddamn dollars.

For now, milk is overpriced; and that's all I care about. More corn ought to be grown, yes; but since when did people use common sense on such a large scale, eh?
