"Hate Crimes" in New York

In the people's republic of New York, a man has been charged with TWO felony convictions for putting a copy of the Qur'an in the toilet.

This makes me wonder.  Why is it OK to burn the American flag, but its not OK to put a copy of the Qur'an in the toilet? If it is my right under freedom of expression to burn the flag, why is it not also my right to put a copy of the Qur'an in the toilet? Hypocrisy anyone?

YEH!  RIGHT THERE!  That's one of the major complaints I've had against the Hyperliberals all along.  They're hypocrites (and surreal ones at that) and they refuse to hear that.
