"Hate Crimes" in New York

In the people's republic of New York, a man has been charged with TWO felony convictions for putting a copy of the Qur'an in the toilet.

This makes me wonder.  Why is it OK to burn the American flag, but its not OK to put a copy of the Qur'an in the toilet? If it is my right under freedom of expression to burn the flag, why is it not also my right to put a copy of the Qur'an in the toilet? Hypocrisy anyone?

I truly care about this opinion, which is why I back it.  It's only your deeply ingrained gayfaggotry that compels you to think my advocacy is a stain of any kind.
