Fake communists

Have you heard of the theory of class consciousness?

How can most of these self-proclaimed communists who are from middle-class families sympathize with the struggles of the working class if they've never even experienced it? How can they claim to know our struggles when they've never done manual labour in their life? They're going off to capitalist colleges to "become someone" while saying they support communism. The communist parties of the world don't WANT your support.

Communism is dead, dumbass. Stop whining already.

"You're not allowed to be a communist because you don't know exactly, though first hand experience, what hardships the working class face". Yeah right. What the hell is with this concept? Suddenly one isn't allowed to want to make things better for people one doesn't truely understand. Better cancel those WorldVision donations then, you aren't starving in Africa. Why the hell should it matter what communists truely know? It defies comprehension.

It's ok to be a fake communist.  Usually in my philosophy or literary criticism courses we'll have take on the perspective of communists in order to roleplay the key viewpoints, allowing us for a few seconds to believe in their principles, but abandoning them as soon as class ends.  This gives the best of both worlds, a theoretical ideology to play with, and a practical economy to go to when the fun and games are over.

fake communists piss me off. more than fake nazis, purely because these people go against everything communism stands for. Fake communists walk around with ipods, listening to commercial music, wearing brand name clothes, and a che gevara cap on, that makes them communist. fools. i know a real communist, that lives in a shack, wears crappy clothes, and contributes to society a lot more than he takes. i respect him, but not these retards.

Communism is only possible if it is voted for by a democracy as only that can create the stable setting for it to exist. The trouble is democracy is a forum for rational debate, an environment in which communism cannot survive.
