Dennis Kucinich

The internet seems to like this guy.  He's like the Ron Paul of the left.  Why do we want Kucinich for president?

he's the only real anti-war democrat.  All the others, including hillary and obama, are completely okay with leaving my brothers and cousins in some shitty desert to die while they pretend to be anti-war.

We could re-instate the draft and send twice as many nineteen year olds with guns, and the situation in Iraq still won't improve. This doesn't make sense regardless. I'm convinced that Bush wants Iraq to balkanize so that we can somehow use that as a pretense to go into Iran.

I honestly don't think we'll end up invading Iran in the traditional sense. There's plenty of pretense already (Iranian-funded rebels), but the manpower just isn't there. Bombings and assassinations, though, are definitely in, as is goading Israel into doing the dirty work.

We have to note well that in 2004 Kucinich caved like a spelunker and supported Kerry enthusiastically.  Obviously he did so since defeating Bush was a priority.  However, the Dems should know by now that "We're Not Bush" is NOT an actual party platform plank.  Kucinich was backing Kerry while Kerry was telling everyone he'd increased troop levels in Iraq (as Bush subsequently did).

Kucinich will have to explain to use why he showed so much support for a Democrat warhawk.
