I deserve my wealth.

I hear a lot of fags saying that rich people in the west are not intelligent, well educated or vital to the economy and don't deserve their wealth.

Well first consider the fact that rich people in other parts of the world are epicly more corrupt, whilst you whine about mcdonalds not warning people that eating makes you weigh more there are monarchs, dictators, fascists, communists and religious fundamentalists who literally extort people living in a level destitute poverty which would never be tolerated in illegal immigrant communities the US, whilst at the same time fooling them into thinking they are not tyrants and blaming America for all the problems they themselves cause. With this in mind it should be obvious that any excess I have earned is not due to any significant flaw. If there is something wrong by all means criticise that flaw, just be sure to do it in a logical manner backing up all your assertions with proof, quoting "das kapital" just doesn't cut it as proof I'm afraid. Also if there is a problem it is no where near the same magnitude as other cultural problems across the glove, if you want to do more good your efforts would best be used criticising non-western cultures.

Secondly university graduates are vital to the economy. Every country has had a plentiful supply of cheap labour since the dawn of time, if the hard work of the prole was the only way for civilisation to progress then China and India would be more powerful than America and one would have beaten the west to the industrial revolution. This didn't happen, the rennaissance began after the black death, war and climate change wiped out 50% of the population of europe. The industrial revolution began in a peaceful English village when a wig maker came up with an idea for an automatic weaving machine. I'd like to see someone who's education ended at 16 code unix, refine uranium or allocate capital. Our nation depends not on worthless cheap labourers, but on the intellect and innovation of the professional class.

Thirdly a 6 figure income is not that high. Some individuals earn 100s of millions a year by exploiting loopholes like the federal reserve and pay hardly any tax whilst high earning professionals pay the highest proportion of tax despite their vital role in the economy.

So you see, you owe our plush pamperred asses. The Chinese have finally just realised this and look at them go!

Hold on.  Let's get a few things straight.

How can you determine causality?  Has a person's behavior determined their class, or has their class determined their behaviour?

For example, if you're poor/uneducated to begin with, it's not so simple to magically become a great student or "start a venture" when you're too busy holding down two minimum wage jobs to put macaroni and cheese on the table.

And let's be honest, you don't ACTUALLY want them to succeed.  Then who would do all the shitty jobs that you would never do?  You are part of the system that holds them down and marginalizes them, because you don't want to give up your wealth (or illth as the case may be).
