Get with the picture. Anyone who says it isn't happening is in some sort of political power and makes money off of something which contributes to global warming.
The real question about global warming is not if it's happening or not! The question is primarily if it is an issue that has negative consequences and secondly if it is preventable and/or caused by humans.
So what is the answer there? There are scientists that will testify that over the course of earth's history, it has been far warmer than it is now. On top of that, some would say that the earth is actually BELOW the average temperature at which it has sustained life!
Secondly, it is hard to deny that humans have had some impact on the world's atmosphere. Truthfully, we have done nearly everything we can to fuck with it! However, some would consider it arrogant to think that humans could have such a dramatic impact on the hundreds of millions of cubic feet that our atmosphere contains. 7 million humans is a lot, but the world may be bigger than we can possibly imagine and maybe our impact (no matter how hard we try) is limited to nothing more than minor changes.
Although I agree that politicians are usually turn the other cheek in order to provide an ignorant and powerful economy... these are both fair points to consider.
Anyone who has links to anything statistic would be nice also =D
Human's are almost certain to pull through no matter what.
Temperature change by itself wouldn't be such a big deal if it was spread out across hundreds or thousands of years. Plant and animal species could adapt and the entire transition could even be pretty seemless.
But even conservative models call temperature increases of 2-4C near the equator and 10+C at the higher latitudes across the next 100 years. That's too fast and there is almost certain to be a massive die off. It's unfortunate, most of our drug reaserch is plant based. There could be a plant somewhere that has the cure to TB/HIV/CANCER but it's going to get baked and we'll never know.

Everybody believes it so it must be true. Thats the way science is done, right?
lol good troll post all the scientists who think it's not happening and I'll post a list of 1,600+ scientists that think it is happening.
you first

Does it matter if it's happening or not?
We should create cleaner, more efficient devices only because it makes sense from a political, economic, and engineering standpoint.

Political standpoint? Economic standpoint? The creation of cleaner technologies, and the regulation of current pollutants, costs companies billions of dollars. It's a lot cheaper to give a few million dollars to a few politicians. This is why change is hard.

The inventors and inovators will gain from this while the idiots still believing its 1980 will not. Get with the program or get of the fuckin road.
Al Gore knows global warming is bullshit; he just wants the $$$$$ from his movie and book. If he didn't think it was bullshit, he wouldn't be living the way he did. What was it, that his energy bill was 20x that of the average American? Fucking idiot. Fucking genius, scamming us all.

You are trying so hard to communicate. What are you trying to say? Come on little guy, if you try hard enough you can make a point. I believe in you!
All >>16 is saying is that because of the way corporate politics work, there is a lot of force resisting a change towards environmental preservation. It costs corporations a lot of money to clean up after themselves, and they have the money to push their viewpoint around. This is a bad thing, but at the moment, it's how corruption works.

Getting a smaller number of well-chosen politicians would cause less of a mess. It's unfortunate that electing good politicians requires both, a concerned and informed populace, and good politicians.

No one ever seems to mention that the polar caps on Mars are melting too. But maybe all the CO2 from earth is leaking off into space to ruin mars as well, right?

The Martian ice caps melt and re-freeze in predictable cycles. Ours used to, but current melting trends are accelerating at unheard of rates. If they were melting just as fast as they should be, very few people would care. These people would be idiots.

Yes, but the more politicians they are the harder it is to bribe them all. Thus less corruption.
It's a balance.

While adding more officials would make it more expensive to bribe a majority of them, it would still be cheaper than the alternative. By the time you have enough politicians to turn the tide, they would be creating so much red-tape that our country would grind to a halt. Only larger companies would be able to keep up with the legal maneuvering of 10,000 politicians.
Lol, what a fucking ridiculous thing to argue about.

You don't have to pay politicians or give them any real power. Just give them a snazzy title, access to government records and let them criticise away.

Global warming is meant to force people in North America, Europe, and Russia to contemplate millions of niggers fleeing their barren lands in search of a better life in their country. Imagine your country turned into a black ghetto.
Basically if we scare the politicians enough, they'll finally bomb Africa.

Imagine your country turned into a beutiful utopia where no one raises his hand against his fellow man, where poverty is eradicated and everyone lives his life to the fullest. Imagine now how retards like you makes this utopia impossible and pray to your god that we dont bomb your fucking home for this.

This can't be achieved if everyone has the intelligence of a primal beast, thus racism is humanitarian in nature.

Intelligence of a primal beast is a necessary ingredient in racism so no. What would be better, hanging all of non-white complexion or hang all who wants to hang all of non-white complexion? If you talk it, you should be able to take it. Now STFU and give me your adress so i can send the black block squad to do some social engineering with your face.

If this was the 1940s I would suggest intelligence tests, and sterilizing those who did not meet certain thresholds.
However, this is the 21st Century, and we have much better methods to get rid of people like your "black block squad". Enjoy your prison AIDS.

Your threats are as empty as your 20th century ideology. You have allready lost a fucking world war, ffs. To the russians. There´s nothing superior about you, except perhaps in the role as a freakshow attraction, where i suspect you will finally shine and find the self worth which absence forces you into the that dark place you call darling and we other earthlings call your sister. Well, she has tried the dark meat and she wants moar, so download some hitler on göring pron and fap away the pain.
And the irony is that if youd live in the 1940s then youd be kindlin for the ovens! They werent to keen on your sort back then you see...

I wouldn't mind my daughter getting pounded by a black fascist. Just so long as he passes that IQ test, since he is fascist his IQ would probably be in the 110+ range.
