You clearly know little about the rise of Pinochet.
The Allende administration collapsed the economy and caused hyper-inflation with it's ridiculous economic policies, later it also created numerous state supported marxist gunmen to compensate for their alienation of the nation's police forces who would be hunted down by Pinochet regime later on. All the CIA did to interfere was fund political parties opposed to Allende. Eventually over 50% of parliament opposed him, just not the 2/3 mark required, as a result Allende refused to stand down or take any actions to restore the rule of law even as violence swept across the country. Instead of a legitimate constitutional democratic change of policy many deemed it necessary for a military coupe to take place to end an obvious attempt by Moscow and Cuba to wreck the country so Allende's gunmen can take over.
The CIA did not fund Pinochet, if anything by funding the christian democrats they made it more likely for the government to change peacefully and democratically. In effect the CIA are guilty of not doing more!
I never said ALL immigrants are racist, I said MANY as you capitalised earlier. The fact of the matter is I hear nothing of hispanic community leaders and proponents who oppose this garbage and if any they are certainly far and few between. In America our culture is far advanced than that, we have white passionately opposing racism by whites and we have blacks being vocal that despite the hardships sufferred by the black man they are still as capable of racism as the next white hick. Culture isn't just about food and clothing, no one hates other people because they wear different clothes and eat different things, it is also about values. It is obvious that Hispanics believe they are above racism and don't have to address such issues and I have every right to say their culture sucks because of it.
France and Belgium share similiar policies and economies which is already tight knit to begin with, the detriments of an open border policy between them would be negligible compared to the benefits. The same is true for many other EU borders and certain borders across the globe.
