what you guys must understand is that this is the support for a *constitutional amendment* for school prayer.

the current stream of politicians make laws that are completely unconstitutional, and in fact completely bypass the constitution's amendment making process.

furthermore, the building of a fence along the mexican border is to strengthen national sovereignty which is rapidly being usurped by international organizations such as the united states and the WTO, which do not have the same checks and balances as the constitution of the united states.

above all, ron paul has the best stance on social issues because he is a firm believer of individual rights and states' rights - which translates into more local (state and individual) control instead of centralized (federal, supranational, or collectivist) planning.

he believes that you have the right to being free to govern yourself with regards to critical issues and in delegating such powers to smaller constituencies such as the states.
