There's widespread agreement among physicists that he wasted the second half of his career. Also he supported the creation of Israel from stolen land so that should tell you something right there.

He was more of a mathematician than a scientist, he could contemplate field harmonics, but not the intricacies of quantum physics.

He hated Quantum Physics and put his obsession in order above disorder, and ultimately he failed to find TOE and yet became a flagship for intellect.
He should be acknowledged, but only acknowledged for dethroning Newton.

E=MC2 is incorrect.
C (constant time) does not exist as time can be relative to any point of the universe. e.g. Blackholes.
Not trolling. This is dead-set true. The entire theory is flawed because even Einstein could not completed the formula without "exceeding" fact.
Which is why some fucktards still believe the world is flat...

PROTIP: Einstein was offered and declined the presidency of Israel in 1952, citing the failure of the Israel government to come to terms with its Arab neighbors.
From what I remember of my physics classes, the apparent slowdown of the speed of light in the vacuum of space while subjected to extreme gravitational forces is due a time dilation phenomena. Basically, massive objects bend the space around it, so the light has to travel more than we can perceive, thus appearing like it's slowing down while it's actually still going at a constant speed.
I've read of the theories and experiments trying to prove that C is not constant, but as far as I know it's an ongoing debate, in no way set in stone and accepted.
C is constant in that two observers moving at different (but constant) velocities will observe the same relative speed for light. This ensures that constant motion is relative as neither can determine their speed by measuring c.
Imagine person A moving away from person B very rapidly. If B fires a cannonball at their departing friend with velocity v, A will observe the projectile moving at some relative speed less than v. But if B fires a pulse of light instead, A will see the light approaching at exactly speed c no matter their personal velocity.
All bets are off, of course, when acceleration gets involved (or gravity, which is mathematically equivalent to constant acceleration).

Einstein WAS actually pretty damn smart. He saw what most scientists of the time couldn't-- the relationships between space, time, gravity, acceleration, mass, energy, and the speed of light.
But he also wasn't the god that pop culture makes him out to be.

This site notes that Einsteins IQ may have been only about 160 compared to other great geniuses who are estimated around the 200 range.
Damn, I had heard Newton was somewhere around 185, the highest ever.

lulz at people that think you can simplify intelligence and represent it as a number

Lol at people who fail to realise that people are already are aware of this and that if the differences in IQ were just 1-5 between races there would be no problem.
The differences we are talking here are 15, it's not the only measure of intelligence used and it's not as if the IQ test doesn't test someone's intelligence whatsoever.

Slow it down? So now it's NOT constant?
I'm with >>20 you others supporting the constant speed not changing can examine the "world is flat" theory instead. Something slower paced...
lol at attempting to use the roughshod IQ test to support the theory that there are significant racial differences in intelligence when geographic cultural factors clearly come into play. Consider that jews (high IQ) are genetically equivalent to Arabs (low IQ).

when c travels through a singularity and enters a event horizon it is altered, you cant look it up in more detail if you observe a carter-penrose diagram, or a hawking-penrose diagram
IQ tests are not roughshod. IQ tests are not the only source which prove negro inferiority.

An event horizon for “relativistic” fermionic quasiparticles can be constructed in a thin film of superfluid 3He-A. The quasiparticles see an effective “gravitational” field which is induced by a topological soliton of the order parameter. Within the soliton the “speed of light” crosses zero and changes sign. When the soliton moves, two planar event horizons (black hole and white hole) appear, with a curvature singularity between them. Aside from the singularity, the effective spacetime is incomplete at future and past boundaries, but the quasiparticles cannot escape there because the nonrelativistic corrections become important as the blueshift grows, yielding “superluminal” trajectories.
Einsteins thoery of relativity is good, but yall should read some stuff by spephen hawkings and roger penrose, they go into more detail than einstein could ever hope to.
