They appease terrorists, but this just proves that terrorism works. However they don't realise this and learn from their mistake, they believe it is because they aren't appeasing them enough! You see liberals don't think in terms of cognitive psychology, only in terms of behavioural psychology. I've noticed this. This is not to say there is something wrong with thinking empirically, but if you're not going to think rationally and run an entire country then all you are going to do is be directly responsible for 9/11 and a therefore a terrorist.
