**Cho Seung-Hui Appreciation Thread**

Cho Seung-Hui... the physical manifestation of EPICNESS.

On the 16th of April, 2007, calmly and coolly, he scored 32 frags and 1 self-kill (and wounded 29 others). This was and is the highest score ever in American school shootings.

Born in Korea, raised in America, he had dice in the mirror, dual-guns in his hands. He looked at his university, he was finally there to sit on his throne as the gunman of VTEC University.

Not only that, he was also known as the "Question Mark." He was nameless. He was the anonymous of the real world.

Short Asian dude who is good at math? Hell no, what we have here is an sophisticated English major with a unique Korean-style Tae-Gun-Do. Was he a Mitchell with an iPod? No, he was a Zerg with handguns. And he had a fucking bad day.

Contrary to popular thought, Cho Seung-Hui was not an emo. When was the last time an emo hurt a fly? An emo does not have the courage to kill others, let alone himself. Cho killed 32, INCLUDING himself. Tell me that's not legendary.

Just to prove he's a force even in death, his videos, photographs and writings were mailed to the NBC news network. The so-called "multimedia manifesto". You thought that was the last you heard of him after the shootings? Think again.

If real life was Starcraft, then he just ZERG-RUSHED and fucking OWNED us.

To this day, no-one knows exactly the reasons for his gun-shooting opera. He simply followed Rule 1 and 2 of /b/: DON'T SPEAK OF /b/.

Also, "Ismail Ax" (the words written on his arm)? Talk about a wild goose chase! If that's not a legendary troll, then I don't know what is.

Real life, you just got MASSIVELY trolled.

Put down your glass of wine, and cease your "debauchery" for just a few seconds "rich kids", I have a question:

How does it feel to have your "deceitful charlatan" ass handed back to you?

 A true /b/tard in life.
 A true /b/tard in death.
A true /b/tard in every sense/nonsense of the word.

 HE WAS AN HERO.

And thus, this is 4chan's offical tribute appreciation thread for our hero, Cho Seung-Hui

Ok, local news story centered in WV, maybe three hours from you know where, in Winfield.

At the middle school, a few days ago there is a gun threat. Police arrest an armed man in the parking lot that evening.

Yesterday, there is a threat (unrelated?) written on the wall inside the school. Something along the lines of "These people will bathe in their own blood on May 11: *list of names*. The principal gets a few bright ideas of how to deal with this:

1. School is not cancelled today.
2. They will quickly paint over the threat before anyone can read the names or warn anyone that they made the hit list.
3. The entire school is on lockdown today, which means that all doors will be sealed after the students have all arrived.
4. Police will be on standby.

I only thought the last one made any sense at all. The first thing Cho did was lock the doors to prevent escape. At least the principal is saving the next killer some trouble right?

Any thoughts, /n/?

i dont know if you skipped the 10 commandments but one of the major sins is murder, and he did it 32 times over, good luck for getting forgiveness on the worst sin of all committed 32 times in a row.

>Virginia Tech victims awarded degrees

http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,21717470-5001028,00.html

GRADUATION ceremonies for the year have begun at Virginia Tech just weeks after a student gunman killed 26 students in America's worst-ever campus shooting.

AP reported that nine of the dead graduate students were awarded posthumous degrees.

We must start a petition for the granting of the posthumous degree for Cho?

**V-Tech Rampage Creator Demands Payment to Remove Game**

http://gamepolitics.com/2007/05/15/v-tech-rampage-creator-demands-payment-to-remove-game

In the history of video games, perhaps in the history of the Internet, this is something never seen before: an audience held hostage.

Ryan Lambourn, the Australian man who created the highly offensive V-Tech Rampage, has posted a message on his GooGumProduce website demanding payment to take the game offline:

ATTENTION ANGRY PEOPLE:

I will take this game down from newgrounds if the donation amount reaches $1000 US, i’ll take it down from here if it reaches $2000 US, and i will apologize if it reaches $3000 US.

Newgrounds, of course, could take the game offline without regard to Lambourn’s wishes. It remains to be seen whether the site will do so.

It’s unclear whether Lambourn’s Dr. Evil-style demand is for real or just part of an elaborate prank. Either way, the clock is now running on Ryan Lambourn’s 15 minutes of fame.

**Outrage over Virginia Tech game**

http://www.theage.com.au/news/games/outrage-over-virginia-tech-game/2007/05/16/1178995212668.html?page=2

A Sydney youth who created an uproar with an online game based on the Virginia Tech massacre, says he will remove the game if he receives $US2000 in "donations".

Add another $US1000 and he promises to apologise.

The game, called V-Tech Rampage, offers "three levels of stealth and murder" and is set on a facsimile of the Virginia Tech campus.

It is modelled on the exploits of South Korean-born Cho Seung-hui who last month shot dead 32 fellow students at the Virginia Tech campus in the worst such massacre in US history.

V-Tech Rampage is the work of 21-year-old Ryan Lambourn from western Sydney who goes by the screen name, Master PiGPEN.

"I've done offensive things before but they're not usually this popular," Lamourn said, adding that he made the game "because it's funny".

Lambourn, who grew up in the US, said his friends suggested putting up the ransom demand which he thought was "a hilarious idea".

He posted the demand on his website saying: "Attention angry people: I will take this game down from newgrounds [the games website] if the donation amount reaches $1000 US. I'll take it down from here [his website] if it reaches $2000 US, and i will apologise if it reaches $3000 US."

He described the exercise as "a joke". "They were so adamant about me taking my game down ... I gave them a way," he said.

"The donation thing was just to pull a few more strings and make more people angry. It's worked."

Lambourn said that while he felt remorse for those who had lost friends and relatives in the massacre, he also had sympathy for the gunman.

"No one listens to you unless you've got something sensational to do." he said. "And that's why I feel sympathy for Cho Seung-hui. He had to go that far."

**Teen punished over violent video game**

The student created a video game from his home computer. But when word got out at school, among other students and subsequently their parents, that's when school district officials took some action.

At Clements High School, student Jordan Schlafer is appalled and shocked to learn her school was used as a backdrop for a violent video game.

She said, "If somebody can make a map like that of the whole school, I mean, it does kind of scare me a little bit, and make me wonder, you know, what else they could do."

The game is called Counter Strike a popular online game where the user, either as a terrorist or anti-terrorist, kills his or her targets. One of the features is that the player can create their own location. A 12th grader who got in trouble apparently made the Clements campus the scene of his game.

"It was the exact replication of the campus," said Fort Bend ISD spokesperson Mary Ann Simpson. "There were players in the game that were armed and the purpose of the game was to shoot and kill."

What made the situation even worse is that the video game was discovered by a fellow student days after the Virginia Tech shootings. School officials immediately removed the teen from school, placing him in an alternative education campus. They called the situation a 'terroristic threat.'
