The US owed the UN money up til after IXXI. Then it paid its dues to make UN approve of the reckless tampering with the wrong country. The UN did not comply and since then it an Yurp have been targets of psychotic smearing and inaccurate criticism from wingnuts.
I still think the UN and the EU needs to shape up and get a better foreign policy, but the US is not very much to write home about at the mo'.
