A kinder, gentler racism: Stormfront.org

Today Dickson's soapbox is no longer confined to small rooms where he addresses handfuls of fellow travelers. His message is amplified and shoots around the planet at light speed, thanks to Stormfront.org, the online bulletin board whose booming growth delights white nationalists and causes anguish among their enemies. Joining Dickson as an online personality on Stormfront are a marquee array of other white nationalist luminaries: founder Don Black; day-to-day manager Jamie Kelso; America's best-known race polemicist, David Duke; former Reagan administration official Bob Whitaker; and Jared Taylor, a Yale-educated, self-declared "racial realist" who publishes the American Renaissance magazine.

I haven't been following the thread and I didn't say you were black. I just assumed that because the opposite of the colour white is black, that "opposite race" meant the black race as opposed to the white race and that you are taking the perspective of the descendants of black slaves in the popular slavery debate. These are all insignificant events on this casual forum and I admit I made a few assumptions just to ease the flow of conversation, enough of that. The fundamental logic of one of the statements I made is much more important, focus on that...

Thinking one person classified as being part of a race needs to be punished for crimes everyone in that race commited is wrong.

I'm actually from Brazil and everyone goes on about how racial harmony is really great in Brazil. The truth is it is because no one gives a flying fuck anymore, they just got tired of it because it truly doesn't matter. In the 20s when Italian immigrants came to Brazil there was a peculiar situation where a lot of settled black/mixed communities who looked down apon them as their portugese ex-slave masters looked apon blacks. There is still racism abound, but minimal compared to countries that enjoy worshipping culture. Brazilian culture isn't rigid, it doesn't exist. People judge a culture by how extensive it is rather than what it's differences are. It's refreshing and something to be emulated by the rest of the world.
