These ways cannot change.

This device paints the illusion of fairy tales for those with naive wishes in their hearts...who say they wish something eternal existed, who say they wish the power of miracles existed. Someone like you might not appreciate the value of this room. And so instead of the Real Chairman's room you chase after phantom castles in the sky. But there's no place higher than this room.

So what does this have to do with politikz? You can see the realism and nihilistic grandeur of this statement can't you? You think you can change the world or that a more ideal world could even be formed? Cast off your naive illusions and look upon the disgusting, horrible truth of reality and this world we exist in. In reality, suffering is not labelled as good or bad, it is merely labelled as fact. You should accept suffering and tragedy just as you accept happiness and love and not even try to perfect society through policy. No matter how perfect society is, there will still exist suffering. The more perfect you try to make society, the smaller your actual gains will be.

I needed an excuse to post that quote, as it has become a meme in my mind when I saw it again. And it's hilarious because that perspective is the exact opposite of highschool. It's the 70 year old salaryman in the board room who knows the world will not change and that the Africans will still be starving tomorrow.

Well, your country isn't run by corporations. America's government is a Corporate Republic. Those Corporations who pay the highest amount for politicians' campaign funds get represented.

Btw >>6, a salaryman is someone who earns a salary at a corporation but has no power and is essentially a slave to his corporate masters.

THESE WOUNDS THEY WILL NOT HEAAALLLL

lol wtf quit whining emokid

WAAH WAAH WHY ARE PEOPLE SO MEAN, PEOPLE ARE LAWSYS MEAN NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE WAAAAAH

There is a little thing called logic, once apon a time the founding fathers used it to end tyranny, they didn't believe it would be perfect like the communists because they were not naive faggots like you, however they knew it would make a difference, they knew it would mean less people would die for speaking out against the governemnt, they knew that someday the country will develop and grow and end slavery, they knew that someday the ideals of liberty and justice would spread. It's people who whine and cry like you because nothing is ever 100% perfect who are responsible for the large chunk of the world's ills. I heard a quote once, forgotten who it was, it goes something like

"The only parameter for evil to occur is that good men do nothing.".

Sure the world can never be 100% perfect, but maybe you can make it go from 0.001% perfect to 0.002% perfect. And instead of whining about how all your efforts only improved the world by 0.001% you can celebrate the fact that you have doubled the amount of good done.
