Scenario for socialists etc..

Let's say this country gets thrown into despotism and there is a civil war. After years of fighting you are still alive and are a grunt in the resistance movement and the war is beginning to die down. In your squad there are some people who want democracy to be restorred, but you and some other people want to make sure that when society rebuilds there are no longer any evil capitalists around. You want to rebuild society as the socialist dream. Long ago you decided not to let these differences divide you as you fought an enemy much more powerful than you. A year later and things have stabilised and you and the resistance movement have split up and now work in the local area on farms to feed the remaining population, then an envoy from the central government which controlled your resistance group arrived and declared that there is a socialist revolution and that a "dictatorship of the proletariat" is needed to root out influences from the factions still loyal to the old tyrants. Many of your buddies think this is absurd and demand that they have the vote and that a person can only be declared a traitor in a court of law. The envoy takes you and some other socialists to one side and tells you that the people who want democracy are idiots and there must be a demagogue among them who needs to be removed and be made an example of.

What do you do?

I for one would participate. They are socialists so they will use that power to achieve socialism and will give back all that power once socialism is accomplished.

They make a separate farm and feed the whole population. Why would a private business feed the whole population?
Sounds like corporate socialism

Socialism only has to do with the economy, it is not anti-democracy.
