America

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-01 20:07

America has a lot of problems, a vast portion of the population is uneducated, the health care systems are a joke, more money is spent on weapons and defense contracts on an already totally over sized and bloated military that on hospitals and schools combined.

What would fix this? Should we vote for the person who promises more hospitals and better health care, or the one who promises to wipe out our enemies in the war against terror? as a whole terrorism doesn't really affect us that much, more people die in car accidents that terrorist attacks and the biggest form of damage to our society is fear, fear that leads us to vote for people like George Bush, personally i think that the no 1 way to fix America is "Education", school should not only be free, but mandatory.

One problem with this is, the current supposed democratic government, if you can call it that, doesn't want people to be educated. i personally believe, call me a conspiracy theorist if you want, that the main presidential candidates aren't really running the country, but are in fact puppets.
It doesn't matter who you vote for these days you have the same behind the scenes bureaucracy controlling everything. American democracy makes me laugh...  the presidential candidates work for the same people and are just in it for the fame "look ma I'm the president", "oh just like your father" they will make anyone president these days, all they have to do is what they are told and take the flak, do u think George bush is intelligent enough to come up with any of these plans?? rhetorical question don't answer it. truth about American democracy is, it doesn't matter who you vote for you still voting for the same people, and they use popular media and charismatic leaders to herd the stupid average American to do there bidding, "thats why Americans will never be schooled and Christianity is so popular because its just another tool to control you!

What country doesn't?

Education and healthcare is corrupted by socialists, needs more privatisation. Problem solved.

Yeah, so lets do nothing. My house is on fire, but others are also, so there is no point in putting it out.

Correct, but everyone knows this aswell so it couldn't have possibly been what >>2 meant. If you used your brain it would realise this, process the information further and deduce that >>2's point was that you should have made a list of america's major problems or something instead of beginning your thread by stating the completely obvious.

Why do I care? I've noticed this is a trade mark with liberals. They say something everyone knows, but they define it in their own terms and claim it is some new and wonderful discovery that is solely recognised by their clique. It was the same with marx when he pointed out that rich people are rich and have all the money because they own property. No shit sherlock!

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-03 20:04

A vast portion of the people are uneducated? No shit. That's how it is in every country, and it will always be like that.

Oh, the health system sucks? Gee, it's horrid how you can get an ambulance to help you wherever you are, regardless of who you are, in a short time. It's also terrible how American hospitals can provide you with whatever you need to live, and how the latest technology and the best doctors are employed in them. So what if you have to pay a boatload of money? It's a small fee when your life is saved.

I'm not going to bother repyling to the rest of your post, because it's a bunch of incoherent babbling. "America is controlled by the democrats and christianity, dur, you're just another puppet to them!" Shut up.

America, however, is disgusting. I'm not going to start on the presidency, the media, Boston, or the average teenage girl. Yet, somehow, this nation of imbeciles manages to be on top of everything.

we already knew this and discussed this many times
The Bush Administration wants to take over the country by propagandizing terrorism. I keep telling people that you can't kill everyone who hates America, they respond "LOL YOU DON'T WANT ANOTHER 9/11 DO YOU" or better yet "YOU ARE PROBABLY A TERRORIST" ,yes, someone once called me a terrorist.
Uneducated are people who do the shit jobs, so Educated people can profit off their stupidity.
Christianity is just fucking stupid

But its the few Americans that are smart that challenge the government and Christianity

Truth. America's health service is the quickest in the world and considerring how large the US is compared to it's contenders that is quite an achievement.

>>10
Is that why America's infant mortality rate is the highest of all developed nations?

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-04 2:52

>>11

You mean one of the lowest, right?

And I'm pretty darn sure the responsibility of taking care of a baby and health care are unrelated. Preeeettty sure.

No it's why you ask stupid rehtorical questions without backing the assertiones they are based on with even the most heresay of facts like a total fuckwit.

i'm not >>11 nor do i care about this discussion, but here is a list of infant mortality by nation.

lol @ african countries.

I'd be the lowest without black people, who put their unwanted babies into dumpsters because they're too poor to afford prophylactics.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-04 17:30

>>15
Yeah, it's pretty nice when you can redefine things like that.

Just ignore the underclass (they're not people anyway), and the US is no.1 everywhere!

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-05 0:39

>>16

underclass?

you ser, are clearly a crazy marxist communist, using them words with class in 'em. You better go now, we don't want your kind here on /b/ polydicks.

There are no poor people. Keep telling yourself that, lolk

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-05 12:23

Correct. No one is really poor. They just say that so you feel sorry for them.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-05 13:48

At least they dont whine about taxes and oppresive gun laws. Those whiners i really cant stand.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-06 21:54

>>20
I hope they get killed by someone who bought a gun on the black market whom they couldn't defend against because excessive taxation left them too poor to buy a gun.

We have some of the best universities in the world and people from all over the world come to study here.

We have the best and most advanced health care system in the world.

We spend more money per student on school than any other country in the world.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-06 22:58

>> do u think George bush is intelligent enough to come up with any of these plans??
why should I care how intellegent a political figurehead is...
>> school should not only be free, but mandatory.
it is....
>> more money is spent on weapons and defense contracts
Bloated?... probably, over sized?.. maybe.., but the military did bring us the device we are utilizing at this moment... as well as a lot of things in the public sector, the trickle down is quite nice and provides for some pretty nice tech I must say
>>  Should we vote for the person who promises more hospitals
no, because that would be a balatant lie, hospitals are a local issue not a fedral one
>> the health care systems are a joke
yeah, in that public heath care drives up the rates of private non insured care, I.E. medicare and insurance.... but lets not go there
>>  charismatic leaders
Who?... Jon Stewart?... srsly who, the last charismatic leader was J.F.K., last I checked he's dead
>> you still voting for the same people
join an intrest group, make a differance, let the pol's eat of your hands for a change

Good thing our schools are producing well-educated, bright young children.

Oh, wait.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-07 4:50

>>24
It is because schools are state run. They waste money.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-07 6:28

"We have the best and most advanced health care system in the world."
You have the most expensive health care system in the world, while being quite low in quality compared to other developed countries. Swedens system costs about a third and has higher quality in almost all quality indicators. So stop with lying already.

That is obviously impossible because they have GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE and everybody knows that can't possibly rival PRIVATIZED.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-07 15:10

>>25
Schools in other countries are state run too, but their schools turn out kids more educated than ones in the US. Adding the fact that we spend more money than other countries, isn't that an embarrassment?

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-07 15:47

>>28
They are state oppressed, but the oppression is less. People are not forced and physically threatenned mid-term to start going to a school 5 miles away instead of a school 100 yards away to promote "diversity", for instance.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-07 16:13

Yes yes, the normal socialist propaganda, using the normal socialist statistics that are not reflective of the actual quality of health care.

Infant Mortality rates and Life Expectancy have absolutely nothing what so ever to do with your health care system. Japanese women have the longest life expectancy in the world no matter where they live for example.

Would you like a real example? How about breast cancer, an actual disease that actually has to be taken care of by actual doctors. The mortality rate in the United States is 25%, its 28% in Canada, in the UK its over 40%. Prostate cancer perhaps? How about 19% for the US, 25% for Canada, and 49% for France... And in the UK, over 57% of men diagnosed with prostate cancer die from it.

did you just use a random theisis to prove your point...?
.. that said, look at americas size in relation to its state of, care.

The statistics were made by Maine U so either there is a socialist enclave in Maine i have never heard or you fail for not checking sources b4 spewing rethoric. There were other indicators than infant mortality. Read Moar.

Well, i thought it was evident that i meant expensive per CAPITA you moran! Study moar.

America is not a democracy.  Politicians do not represent the people, they represent lobbyists.  end of story.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-08 8:25

>>34
If they represented the lobbyists people would shoot them.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-08 20:25

Oh how I wish they would.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-08 20:37

Im not talking about per capita... Im talking about actual  physical size, I.E. spread of resources.. which I think we deal with quite well, and you still just made your argument with a random thesis the contents of which you didn't even copy pasta... bad form
>>34
lobbyists inform pol's of their demands and the state of their industry, because not many pol's are doctors, farmers, and what have you , lobbies are made of intrest groups, intrests groups are made up of the common man

Nation deserves it's leader.

Current American people deserve Bush, as sad as it sounds.

When more than half of population wants to force their ideas onto others (anti gay marriage, anti abortion, anti stem cell research) they deserve someone like Bush to be their leader...

If people just gobble up whatever media and politicians tell them without questioning it (WMD's there was much information about their non-existence in Iraq in alternative media) and vote for the candidate under who's rule there was more executions in Texas than in the rest of US COMBINED, just because he is a Republican and everyone hated Clinton, they deserve leader like Bush.

If after 6 years, and a all the lies by the administration is uncovered there are no massive protests to impeach Bush and his cabinet for all the lie and deaths they have caused, that means people just don't care. In that case, they deserve their leader.

Not all Americans are like that. Most likely most if not all of people who are intelligent and curious enough to read and write on 4chan are not like that. But majority of Americans are like that.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-08 20:55

>>38
Obviously, Bush's landslide victory of 51% of the vote means the entirety of the US deserves him.

Name: Voly 2007-02-08 22:09

Never said entirety, just "majority".

But it's Americans' own fault. Only ~ 33% voted... everyone who didn't vote, they are responsible too.

And people didn't make a big deal of vote fraud (when exit poll was ~20% different from actual results in some counties in Florida) even though there was evidence for it, when they should have made a HUGE deal out of it.
