Canadian Politics

Any Canadian hippies out there that realize the Liberals are a bunch of tools?  How 'Liberal' is a party when Brian F'in Mulroney is named the Greenest Prime Minister?

How does if feel that the Conservatives are actually doing what they promised to do?

I can't beleive the environment is the top priority for Canadians.  They say that now, but you have to realize that Canada's economy is all about extracting oil, timber, minerals, etc.  Most people don't know this but it causes ALOT of pollution just to pull the fucking oil out of the ground before u even use the damn thing, same for metals and timber.  If Canadians are willing to watch their standard of living go to shit for some enviro-eurofags then I am getting out of this country and moving to the US.  Heck the reason Harper is so reluctant to pursue Kyoto is cause he knows it'll fuck up Alberta permenantly. In fact, as usual with Canadian policies, Kyoto could only possibly benefit Ontario and maybe Quebec who would have to manufacture all those green products, while the rest of the country is reliant on polluting resource extraction.  God this country is getting lame.(*I'm not an Albertan, I'm an Ontario resident)
