How could the government legislate against greed? How can they force business owners to cut into profits and give the lowerend workers extra money to improve their lives?

They could ban immigration, creating a shortage of labour. Businesses would then have to increase wages to compete for limited labour.

Liberals don't actually care about the poor, they just see them as a way to get into power and prefer to keep them stupid by corrupting education with "women's studies" and "african american studies" so they remain stupid, prefer to whip them up into a paranoid frenzy and enjoy complaining about absolutely everything but never actually coming up with solutions so they don't have to be responsible.

As a result liberals will not ban immigration and support population control.
