Never Trust Emotional People

I was driving home today listening to the radio, and I hear this story about this guy accused of rape who was thrown in jail for something close to 20 years... then proven innocent thanks to DNA evidence.  Yay for our functioning judicial system.

What the fuck, seriously? The jury found him guilty, then science proves them wrong.  This is such bullshit, something should happen to prevent this kind of shit.  I bet the feminazis  and the girl's vindictive parents cheered when he was unjustly thrown into jail too... locked up for over 20 years of his life unjustly.  He was around 20 years old when thrown into jail, and is now in his 40s (roughly), and finally released.

How can you conservative pieces of shit possibly justify having the death penalty? This guy could have been fried in the chair - and I wouldn't doubt the girl and her emotion laden parents would have been very satisfied at that conclusion as well.  Moreover, cases like these happen all too often to justfy having the death penalty.

I generally think of myself as a conservative-leaning libertarian, but this kind of crap pisses me off, and really, REALLY turns me away from the lawgiver types on the right.  Not only is the death penalty unconstitutional in my opinion, we have horror stories like I just pointed out to consider as well.

Death penalty is not for rape, but for murder. Some advocate it for rape, but that's just ridiculous reactionary soccer mom bullshit. Idea of death penalty is not revenge, but it's to act as warning and also to completely remove serial killers from society.  Sometimes wrong people are executed and thus death penalty shouldn't be used at all, unless it's 100% that suspect is guilty and will likely continue murdering people if released.

I think you're talking about the guy in Texas who raped a young black boy, so no, no feminazis.
