They aren't socialists. Also I am a little dismayed by the claim that libertarians have their heads in the clouds. In all discussions I feel that I'm always one step ahead and having to state the obvious. It seems that people don't realise 95% of the libertarian objectives set out by intellectuals and philosophers from Babylonia, ancient China, ancient Greece, Enlightenment thinkers and modern political scientists have been achieved and it is why you are not getting your bloodied face repeatedly stamped into the sidewalk.
