How do you beet Communism?

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-11 12:44

I know, it's not 1950's anymore but still

You don't. Communism loses by it's own lack of supply-and-demand pricing, profit motive, and competition, not to mention all the holdups that large-scale communism gets from sheer bureaucracy. Not to mention communism has no way of eliminating the black market.

Damnit 2, that's what I was gonna say but with less words.

Communism>America lawl

Actually America is halfway communist. Eight of the 10 planks of communism are satisifed in the US, partially or completely.

There is no market in communism, those things can not fail because of that.

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-11 15:13

You mix it with some carrots and tomatoes, put in in a blender, and add water. Voila.

planks of communism?

The lack of a market is the whole problem.

Wait it out, it'll eat itself to death after a while.

Capitalism tried to kill democracy in the 18th century. Capitalism tried to kill liberalism in 19th century. Capitalism tried to kill communism in the 20th century. Its evolution not revolution baby.

You don't. Ever read "Notes from the underground"? People will choose communism just to spite your dumb, delusional ass.

Why is that a problem? Without a market the system does not have the problems of the market. Other problems occur of course.
There is no need for the supply and demand balance because the government takes care of that.
For example: Ratings show that not enough shampoo is distributed on the “market”, the government hires to the shampoo factory. Factory supervisor says: “You work over here comrade”, worker says “Sure thing, thank you for giving me this opportunity to serve my country comrade”
And everyone lives equally happy lives, the end.

Factory supervisor says: “You work over here comrade”, worker says “No, I'd rather be at the warehouse hauling boxes of shampoo into my van, um... because I um.. need.. that much.. Because communism is about taking what you need, amirite?"
fix'd

Maybe you are right, dishonest people ruin communism.

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-12 7:21

Yes, if only everyone would stop being dishonest the world would be a perfect place. Oh well, since it will never happen, let's support systems that ensure people have the incentive to do good and are deterred from doing wrong instead naive proto-theoretical ideals.

Sorry, but I can't do that.

I know you can't. I was being sarcastic.
