STOP INSTITUTIONALIZED DISCRIMINATION!

http://www.lsj.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061008/NEWS04/610080621/1005/news

If you are from MICHIGAN, USA....

Vote YES on proposal 2 this voting cycle.  Proposal 2 would end preferential treatment based on race, sex, etc in public institutions.  Public institutions should be totally racially and color BLIND, they should not act preferentially to anyone based on the mere color of their skin, or their gender.

Unfortunately, while some states such as California has taken the enlightened path and prevented any discrimination based on gender, race, color, etc in public institutions, Michigan has NOT.  Right now, it is on the ballot.  We the people have the power to end discrimination this election cycle.  Vote YES on prop. 2.

Would sexual orientation be included in this?

I like laughing at the gay ass niggers at school, and not getting in trouble.

>>1 As long as this is a PUBLIC obligation and nothing else. Shame I live in Sweden and can't vote. Actually, scratch that, I am endlessly glad to live in a country were a majority believes in evolution.

>>4 Public? This law would ONLY effect public institutions to my knowledge.  The private sector shouldn't be affected in the least.  This law pushes toward a color/sex blind government - something I believe should be strived toward.

Agreed, constitutionally, public is all we can effect, and hope that the rest of the society learns the benefits of equal treatment.
