Public Education in USA

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-28 13:32

I'm sitting here now, after being suspended for five days for joking with my friend about a bomb in my backpack. Now I'm stuck out of school for five days and most likely convicted of false reporting and being put on probation.

>>1 This is what happens when paranoia and a promille doctrine becomes synonymous with concern and security. I suggest you read up on some pyrotechnics and sabotage and start giving any local authorities a piece of your mind. This will harm you tow in the future, unfairly, because you didn't acquiesce to an inefficient doctrine of "keeping your voice and your opinions in check or the terruhrists win". A war on Islamism is a good idea - the war on terror we are actually seeing is reflective of militarism, conformity and manipulation. It started when the CIA started talking to Reagan about how the evil seculieberaltards (lololol) didn't approve of inflicting indescribable brutality and torture on innocent South Americans so that the economy could grow faster. But no worries, we'll just treat them like enemies of the nation for not selling the soul of their country: http://c2ore.com/articles/?itemid=2167 The left is too meek on non-western, anti-liberty systems (left-of-centre Rushdie or the incredibly versed and sensible Amos Oz have raised their voices on this too), the right has a tendency to stand up to them but are more concerned with power, as well as cultural and economical dominance at others expense. Case in point - the contractors in Afghanistan and Iraq who have done jack-shit. Hussein got toppled because he was no longer in lock-step, and started using the Euro more rather than the dollar. So he got it up the chuff, as did the Americans who thought the war on bad things and dissent in general would make them safer. Humanity needs to hit peak oil now, at least then we'll realize how slim our margins actually are.

Public education in America?
Sounds like a plan to me.

I mean, a schooling system that's basically (being) reduced to only really teaching its students how to be drones, is just one of many things that make me happy I'm not American...

I'm sick and tired of immigrants driving down employment and standards of living in our poorer black and mexican-american communities. We must band immigration, get rid of corrupt marxist policies corrupting our schools and give children a helping hand. Democracy can only work with good people and good people need to be made. Let's give poor communities a helping hand by giving them the same access to private schools as the rich.

privatise all schools
don't allow immigrants to take their kids into the country
subsidise education for children, particularly in poor communities

>>5 LOL.  I agree with you.  Unfortunately, I'm thinking the democrats are going to win next election, which will teach them that they *CAN INDEED* turn around and stab civil liberties in the back, get away with it, and then retake control of the government, all without rethinking their shitty gun policy and socialism.  If there is one thing I am most happy to point out that is beneficial about the current massive republican victory we've had, is that it might 'force' the democrats to change their party platform, and hopefully become more libertarian.

The libertarian party will spend 3 terms in office starting at most 25 years from now after steadily gaining popularity. They will completely revolutionise American politics.

I agree with you whole heartidly, but here is my serious question.

To prove that your statement is actually something you would fight for or is it just lip service.

If this is really what you want, then how will you vote in the next elections?

Rep or Democrate?

I say if you vote for either, your just giving lip service.  IF YOU REALLY WANT TO CHANGE AMERICA, THEN DON'T BE A POLITICAL SHEEP.

DON'T YOU KNOW THAT SHEEP ARE SUPPOSIDLY THE DUMBEST ANIMALS ALIVE?  (THEY ARE ALSO EASILY LEAD AROUND AND AS LONG AS YOU HAVE SOME FOOD, SHEEP WILL ACTUALLY EAT UNTIL THEY DIE, IF THERE IS ENOUGH FOOD.)

SERIOUSLY, THEY ACTUALLY ARE WHEN COMPARED TO OTHER ANIMALS.

SO PLEASE, NO LIP SERVICE, BE A BULL NOT A SHEEP.

That's a difficult decision. I would place my vote wisely, but I may well support a political party I did not vote for so that what meager influence I have has the most effect. I'm sorry if that sounds like lip service, but I will be doing something.

If everyone acted more like 12, we would have a far superior political system.  Be a bull, not a sheep.

also, good people are pro-creationism zealous christians, with no ability to think rationally.

fucking retard.

That kind of thinking allows the people in power to manipulate the system to its own advantage.  People vote along party lines when they are so afraid of what they other party would do, they let reason fly out the window.  Few realize just how close both parties are in their politics.  Wedge issues do not a coherent political philosophy make.

Vote libertarian.
