Most of the things discussed in this thread are advocated by sharia law, which only a small part of the Islam world adheres too.

Places like Indonesia, India and Pakistan, where most of the worlds Muslim population live, have nothing close to the Islamic laws that governs the day-to-day lives pf people in areas with a much smaller population of Muslims.

You can find a minority (and thats exactly what it is) within any large group that makes the rest of them look like monsters, but its simply wrong.
