Legalized prostitution, or red light districts, are set out of the way from places where children go, like schools and parks, and are regulated by the government. Sex is treated like any other service, with tracable monitary transactions, and medical screening. The legalization of prostitution would mean less crime, if not for the simple fact that pimps would be non-existant. The lack of pimps would mean no fighting between pimps, no ownership of the girls to any one pimp, no hunting down of those who dont pay the prostitues (or date any of them), and no drug trafficing that can occure with the already illegal flow of money. In short, red light districts are safer, cleaner, more organized, and good for the community if located out of the way of the prying eyes of children. We have no problem with strip bars or lap dances, so it's absurd to think that a woman can be payed for grinding her hips against a guys crotch, but it's suddenly immoral and dirty for them to have actual sex.
