this would be valid if the women were forced to take up this profession. they're not, they choose it. no one is pointing a gun to their head saying 'suck me off and i'll give you money'.
Prostitution doesn't degrade women, it's an outlet for an otherwise unacceptable behavior. no sane male would ever treat a woman like he may or may not play out with a prostitute. prostitutes deal with this behavior voulentrarily, and it's good that they do. better to them, where both parties agree that it's fake and shallow but no harm is being done, than to a regular woman in a real relationship.
It's a womans choice what she does with her body, and it's no fault of her own that men think the way they do.
It's a crude analogy, but think of a prostitute as a punching bag, taking the hits, the frustration and the fantasies of a man and directing them through a safe outlet without harming anyone who isn't prepared or doesn't concent to that kind of behavior. if we had no punching bags, where would we outlet our stress and frustration? yeah, on other people. so if we dont have prostitutes, or at the very least easy permiscuous women, what would men do with their pent up sexual frustration? yeah, on other people (ie: rape). and this is just the prostitution of today. think of the benefit of having it regulated and organized?
