Athiesm

Atheism has no church, no preachers, no canonized scriptures.  It cannot spread memetically like Christianity because it lacks these meme producing structures.  It also lacks a spiritual or supernatural reward.  How could Atheism become more popular, more widespread, and more acknowledged without appearing as a sect, a cult, or its own religion?

yeah! lets become communists! after all we all know that native americans developed so much science and culture and had superior living standards... oh wait.
