Is immigration really that bad? Why? I'd rather give immigrants here a job if they will then spend the money here... it would help the economy more than companies sending the factory down to mexico. At least if they live here, and buy things here, it will help the economy here, rather than the alternate... as I said.. our companies go searching elsewhere for cheaper labor. What do you all think?
Then you don't understand liberalism, or libertarianism. It's that simple.

If we put more stress and penalties on compnies that employ illegal immigrants it would seriously reduce the amount wanting to come in. the reason they come in the first palce is cause they know they canwork under the counter for less than minimum wage for full time jobs and companies dont take the time to look at their background properly. more border security, yes, but you can't just fortify the front lnies, you gotta make sure the goal of these people is essentially cut off. charge heavy ass fines to companies that fail to properly background check their workers, and put that money toward border security.
i feel the plight of these people, trying to leave an unbarable situation, but that's no excuse for coming into the country illegally. i'm actually thinking a guest worker program wouldn't be sucha bad idea. but pay them what normal americans get, even if it's minimum wage.
I'd rather have them move here for good then have 'guest worker' bullshit.

We should let them work here for minimum wage, but educate them as to how fucked up their government is, so when they go back they bring tales of how great liberty is and overthrow the government and turn it into a libertarian democracy. Within 5 years Mexico is as egalitarian and economically free like Iceland and Switzerland, within 20 years Mexico will experience an enormous amount of economic growth like Japan after world war 2 and poverty will be reduced significantly. Problem solved and the objective of ensuring all sentient life on the planet enjoys liberty will be brought closer.

Yeah right, like that'll happen. You seriously expect too much of them. Yeah their government is fucked up, but they aren't gonna do shit about it. If there are rebel groups, maybe we could just arm them or something.

Are there any people here who are Fiscially moderate and socially conservative here?
I say that we should just mine the border. When enough wetbacks die, they will finally get the message.

No. We don't arm individual groups, we arm all Mexicans. We arm people trying to make a living, teachers, doctors, mothers, farmers, business owners, etc etc.. whom are somewhat more trustworthy than some Cuban linked totalisocialist group who would never support the 2nd amendment. The only reason why the armed groups that fought off the King of England were libertarian was because the only way they could gain power was by pleasing the heavily armed labourers of the US.
