Women sometimes get pregnant in order to tie a relationship tighter (because they have been taught submission and reliance on men is their best bet) and men are lackadaisical with protection (because they haven't been taught responsibility or that sex is a very bipartisan affair). I can't speak for the adult women who should know better, but girls in America are having a horrible time and I think that teenage pregnancies is American society's fault.
