Ideals like freedom and liberty are no longer considered the ultimate good in America.  Politicians continue to say the words, but they are completely hollow.  Libertarians mistakenly believe that the majority of the American people would be on their side, that they believe in freedom as much as they do.  But most people, once they truly understand what freedom entails, do not like it.  People will say they like freedom, but are all too eager to restrict their neighbor.
