America should mind it's own damn business, it really wants to play "World Police" it seems, when no nation in the world has given it that authority other than itself.

Americans don't have the balls to be an effective empire anymore, if you're not going crush the entire Middle East like you mean it, you should seriously just fuck off and leave the rest of the world to pick at you.

We don't have a duty to free the Iraqi people.  It's their job to take care of themselves.

The US should use its soft power (it was that sort of force that toppled the east in the end of the cold war) more and do what NATO has done against terrorists before; surgical, coordinated strikes with clear goals and no economic interests acting upon soldiers and civilians. I supported the idea of a full war on islamist terrorism but the execution and the unnecessary acts committed using IX XI (TM) as justification has been so worthless and ineffective it has shook my faith in the US.
