Private militia

I'd like to start a private militia focused on training and stockpiling weapons, but make it respected enough to be encouraged as an alternative to regular military service, and be open enough to all people without enforcing a closed minded ideology of hate.  This would rule out a lot of people who would join a militia, such as gang members, skinheads and residents of Idaho.  Bit of a dilemma.  

Being a company may make it easier to purchase weapons en masse without raising suspicions, like a security company.
