Ron Paul's (R-TX) bill would attempt to prohibit the funding of the U.N. if the U.N. tried to impose any kind of tax on U.S. citizens.

We should not be funding organizations like these that are opposed to our very constitution and national sovreignty itself.

>>2 It's not like your presence have been pleasant for them. You harmed hundreds of peace-keeping resolutions and you actually acted on credit considering you only started paying your fee by the time you needed some support before the bumbling invasion of Iraq (once again, I suport overthrowing Afg. and Irq. on principle, I just don't think it should be advertised as a noble war on terror). Luckily, we saw through your worthless attempt at advertising imperialism, unlike a majority of the American populace. You should hold a nation-wide ballot regarding your continued membership, and stick to your own devices. The U.N. acts as a speedbump to your SUV, and we have better things to do.
