World War Three scenarios

ITT we discuss WWIII and how it will play out.

There will be five major powers who will be involved during the beginnings of World War III.   Russia, China, and North Korea will become allied members of the Eastern Coalition, which will simultaneously invade Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.  Meanwhile, an unsteady alliance will briefly form in Middle East consisting of Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Syria, Turkmenistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt; and whose charter will mostly involve the halting of western expansionism into their respective countries and also possible expansionism into countries who are aligned with the western expansionism movement, like Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, and of course, Israel.  Greece and India will likely attempt to stay neutral with the EC (Eastern Coalition) and the MEA ( Middle East Alliance ) but will probably find themselves drawn into the conflict as it goes on.  About a year or two after MEA is formed, it will likely disband as a result of inner conflict and the entire area may fall into civil strife, while various factions vie for power.

On the Western front, the US will have to involve itself against the aggressive actions of the EC, and will ultimately find itself pulling out the mideast in order to secure it's eastern allies.  What will probably happen is a buildup of US defensive forces on the affected countries, as well as preemptive strikes into mainland China and North Korea.  However, also during this time yet another allied power consisting mostly of South American countries as well as parts of the EC, will begin a huge push into the US across the mexican border.  As to whether Mexico will consider this a threat will depend on it's current government incarnation; they may either be neutral or allied with the US, and while it's doubtful that they`ll be allied with what we could term the South American Compact (SAC)   , they still may allow access through their country in return for land rights which could be negotiated later.  Regardless of how large the invasion actually is, the fallout will be tremendous and would possibly lead to a state of martial law in the US.

Finally, the European Union will be left to qwell the MEA problems and secure it's own western assets there.  The US may involve itself with Israel, but will more likely rely on it's EU counterparts for primary defense, yet it's likely that they`ll be hesitant to accept reponsibility to provide defense in Israel.  It's more likely that they`ll begin an arms buildup against the growing aggression from the EC and deploying troops into the outlying land-locked countries.  The EU will ultimately call for the formation of a one-world unifying alliance, and given the state of war upon them, will ultimately be formed as an oligarchy ruled by the ruling families from each allied country, with the head representative being voted on by the ruling council.

So, basically you`ll have the EC, MEA, SAC, the US, and the EU all as factionalized powers.  So, any other thoughts on how WWIII may play out?

Explain how you think Russia, NK, and China manage to get on the same side?

Sean Connery allows them to rightfully do so.

Most likely there will be another cold war which polarises countries without overly effective wmds.

By American magic. Yankees still think Russians as evil commies, while in reality they would never side with China or NK.

America pisses them off big time?

Because NK and China have been allied for decades and Russia's been looking for a foothold back into the superpowers?

Starting wars won't work like that. Well, unless you want to lose that war.

Are you kidding?  They`ve all done joint military exercises together!  They`re all trading partners!  The only problem I see however is that China probably wouldn`t allow an early invasion into SK, as China and SK have pretty good relations right now.

What if america says "lol in a month we are going to attack north korea, china and russia for no reason"?

Dear Dr. Phil, I am a 17-year old that can blow air out of the corner of my right eye and like to masturbate to porn GIFs. Lately I have learnt how to dislocate my ankle and I recently discovered don't like anything at all about Russia. Am I weird?

Okay, this is fucking weird, because first you have this odd-ass post about world war three and allies and shit, then today we found out that Russia's been selling NK some missile technology.

That's no more likely than any other nation starting one.  When WWIII comes about it is likely we will have pleanty of warning.  It isn't even really heating up now, the middle east issue is to cold and localized to start a real WW.  It could always expand and heat up as tensions rise and Iran gets Nukes, but it should take at least a few more years to even get a good idea if it will heat up that much anyways

>>14 All about the oil. We may be able to construct a plastic substitute with fructose, but as long as they kill all attempts to create an electric car (it's completely feasible) the world is going to keep with oil simply because we are mollified. when we run ut we are seriously fucked in all negative aspects of the word. Capitalism only serves humanity to the point that it is profitable.

NK and China haven't been allied for quite time. China maybe bad and mean hellhole, but even they realized that Kim's nut and stopped supporting him.

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-10 6:18

>>18  Err... what?  China has a vested interest in North Korea, or else why would they be pumping billions a year into that country?

Someone please explain this to me, NK's economy has been shitholed since the early 70's, exactly how were they able to come up with the funds to build nuclear weaponry, especially seeing as they don`t exactly have the resources to research it.  (Luckily we gave some of it to them, thanks Carter.  :/ )  But seriously, I have this sneaking suspicion that if you opened the warhead on a Taepodong missile it'd say 'Made in Beijing' on the inside panel...

Yup, North Korea is slowly turning into a Chinese puppet state.

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-10 23:13

China will fire some nukes at the US from north korea and be all like, omg north korea did it you can't retaliate against us lol

You have no idea. Once Kim dies North Korea is going to turn something really awesome. His son who will inherit power is bishounen that's described as little girl and apparently he has already military backing him too. Don't think he respects any NK traditions either.
