Yeah, that's true. If you vote Republican, they will restrict certain freedoms. For example, most republicans voted for the Decency acts.... restricting radio broadcasters and television/media companies from saying dirty words on the air.
Right now, saying "fuck" on the air in the U.S. costs about 300,000$, so I hear.
But then, if you elect the democrats, they'll take away your rights to firearms, increase the size of the federal government dramatically, and tax your ass off.
Which brings me to the conclusion:
Vote libertarian. They have all the benefits of either main party, minus the bullshit.
