you know I've been thinking, does anyone else see Saeed of Oz as a less firey but more devout version of Malcolm? I always thought ever since the riot episode that's what they were going for. Anyway, a crazy motherfucker is exactly what the black rights movement appears to have needed, for the alternative brought about by following the peacenik...well, it leaves much to be desired. Perhaps if a revolution had occured and been put down in a bloody enough fashion you wouldn't have so many 'racism doesn't exist except when it's politcally relevant' liberal ostriching going on. Damned whitebread suburbanites use MLK as an excuse for everything being bright and cheerful even when it's clearly not. If they had to see people executed in front of them those blinders would be lost pretty quickly.
