The UN is a little bitch

Seriously.
Look at Rwanda.  Look at Bosnia.  Look at Iraq.  Look at Sudan.

The UN doesn't like to take action EVER, but they have no problems with apologizing when they don't stop a regime from decimating its own country's population.
I wonder what would happen if the US didn't invade Iraq.  Yeah, we know oil was the real cause, but Hussein was killing off his own people by the boatload and NO ONE DID A GODDDAMN THING.

What's the point of the UN?

The UN doesn't make war. They're restricted from doing so.
It is IMPOSSIBLE for the UN to force a country to do anything, using anything other than economic sanctions.

So, basically, turn the UN into a world government-ish thing and they'll actually be able to do something about something.
