What do you think of the complaints within and how accurate do you find this?

I reside in an area totally devoid of any Asian people whatsoever, so I have no way to test these out past the complaints about Hollywood. Who make good money off perpetuating stereotypes so those won't go anywhere soon.

The solution is to embrace your Asian-ness. Hang out with other Asians (oh horrors </sarcasm>), be YOURSELF, with your unique mix, rather than aping the white monoculture. This of course, means dealing with truckloads of identity issues -- SO DEAL WITH THEM. You are what you are. You'll never be Asian enough for your parents and you'll never be white enough (accepted in the same way) as white people. I'm not arguing for an extreme egotism (of the white kind) as much as embracing reality; the sooner you get started the better. If it sounds like I'm lecturing, I'm not. I'm in the same boat as you.
