Holiday Trees...

What is this crap? I by no means consider myself a Christian, but this political correctness is ridiculous. 85% of the people in this country celebrate Christmas to some extent.

It's not a Holiday Tree, it's a Christmas Tree. It's not the Holiday Bunny, it's the freakin' Easter Bunny. Give me a break.

Ya know, heaven forbid, to borrow the expression, that we <i>offeeeeend</i> people of other faiths or ideas by what the majority celebrate. Get over it! o_o;

The Christmas Tree was originally a tree the Christians planted to attack the Pegan religion.  Most supposedly Christian celebrations we have these days were all stolen from other religions in an attempt to destroy the other religions and to spread Christianity.

Since the tree isn't going away any time soon, it is for that and other reasons I call it a Holiday Tree.  The holiday is far from Christian these days, and much of what it is should be seen as an utter disgrace of the religion.

Besides, the same as most people I know, I am not Christian.  Therefore, it makes just as much sense to call it Islam Tree as it would Christmas Tree.  Except Islam Tree would at least represent something more pure.
