In 2050 Hispanics will be the majority in US?

I've read a couple of predictions in yahoo news stories that they expect hispanics to be the marjority in the US in aproximately 2050.

Could this be true?

How would it affect the US culture?

Is the upper class (Bush, etc) doing a cut and burn (spending everything and taking everything that isn't nailed down) in preparation for this?

Only a retard would judge a person by their ethnic background. I'm pretty sure Hispanics are more American in the true sense of the word than self-hating racists hicks. Hispanics have been fighting for America since the revolutionary war, this is OUR land as much as it is yours.
