In 2050 Hispanics will be the majority in US?

I've read a couple of predictions in yahoo news stories that they expect hispanics to be the marjority in the US in aproximately 2050.

Could this be true?

How would it affect the US culture?

Is the upper class (Bush, etc) doing a cut and burn (spending everything and taking everything that isn't nailed down) in preparation for this?

I don't care what race a person is as long as he's well educated and fits in. What I do care about are gangs of spics who wave the Mexican flag and hate me for some reason. Why in the world would I welcome such people in my country?
