SEATTLE - One chapter in Washington's tumultuous governor's race closed when Democrat Christine Gregoire beat Republican Dino Rossi in a statewide hand recount by a razor-thin 130-vote margin.

But the story is far from over - and it's anyone's guess exactly how many more twists and turns it will take through the legal system before it ends......

Oh boy. One step closer? Or maybe one step into hot lava so we have to start over.

I hope that not only does Rossi win, but that Gregoire and her campaign team get some kind of wrist slap for the bullshit they tried to pull.

There's something really sad about all of these litigious erections that are happening in your country, you should just revolt and establish a system of proportional representation like most of the rest of the democratic world.
