But srsly, what's this thing about the Mayan calendar ending on that day? Every single digit in the counter goes up to 20 (except the second-last, which stops at 18). The first one's just gone to 13. Meaning, there's seven left. 7×20×20×18×20=1,008,000 days, or 2¾ millennia, left on the dials!
Btw: "13.13.13.13.13" = Oct 20, 2282, for the superstitious ones…
