How should the United States respond if Israel and Palestine escalates to major armed conflict?

IMHO the philistines started it all by launching Iraqi WMD into the holy land. There is a high probability that there is going to be a retaliation. Kinda like jumping on an angry bulls balls.

Well, the Israelis shouldn't be there anyway, the allies just decided the philistines should be kicked away from their holy grounds so the jews could live there. In my opinion, the jews should leave and return to the philistines what was theirs in the beginning.

Seeing how, in reality, we are in part at fault we should already be involved.

We have a choice between defending an ally and a belief.
Or allowing Israel to fade back into Palestine, hopefully allowing a little bit more civility in between America and the middle east.

In reality we benefit either way.
By keeping the holy land in the hands of the Israelis, we also prove our faith which in the past has actually benefited us with European relations.
Backing down would mean that we have more opportunity to make amends with the middle East.

Nothing, no reason to get involved. Either move made, one group will end up hating the US more and americans will end up wasting money and lives on shits who fight over land that has nothing notetworthy about it.

Both Israel and Palestine have shown that they've no interest in compromise, and dragging us into the conflict is unfair.

We brought it on ourselves. But now Obama its ignoring history and the media its making it out tip be a fight that America has had no involvement in.
