State Trooper Gets Away With Manslaughter

On Sept. 16, 2011 Kentucky State Police Trooper Jonathan Biven's cruiser crossed the center line on U.S. 31W and smashed into the driver's side of a 2003 Ford Mustang, killing the drive 33-year-old Nurcan Ceylan.

In the aftermath, Barren County Commonwealth's Attorney Karen Davis says she would not pursue criminal charges Officer Biven. So far, no disciplinary action has been taken regarding the incident.

well, that's the law in that state.  Why put the guy in jail?  What will that accomplish?

it's sad, but yawn. cops get away with literally EVERYTHING. one of my best friends from middle school's dad was a cop, when he was on duty he would sit in his house wearing his uniform, eating chips and heluva good dip while watching TV. being a cop is getting paid to pretend your doing good and enforcing the law. it's like being a christian, except you pay to run around pretending your doing good when in fact your doing the complete opposite. IT'S ONE BIG CIRCLE OF HYPOCRISY! FUCK THIS SHIT!
