Actually the best way to refute evolution is to assume/imply that aliens have visited the ruins of earth after humans have left it for whatever reason. One alien would dig up a unbroken dish and assume that it is the fossil of a ancient creature. A unbroken bowl would also be revealed the same way. They might even assume that the bowl is a evolved form of the dish! Then another alien would say "NOT SO FAST EVOLUTIONIST SCUM! This is the design of a single manufacturer that was willing to destroy his own planet to design this! Instead of learning a lesson from this, clearly we should revere this horrible beast and go extinct in a similar way!"
