Who would have thought it, but it turns out that the creationists were right all along! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wXVUh-9OyM
I don't know about you, but I'm starting to feel that it wasn't such a good idea to deny God, now that we've been found out. Do you think it's too late to break with Satan and repent? First of all, I'm going to stop being a homophile right now. No more lustful buggery for me.

Oh my, it's all true! I've been a scientist for all my life, but this data all checks out! This proves that we were 100% WRONG all along! I thought ignoring God was the path to salvation, but I now understand that I must abandon Satan as my lord and embrace the only true path!

They say that evolution exists, but have you ever SEEN evolution? ...with your own eyes?
I've seen GOD with my own eyes, so I know that HE exists.

"... but evolution in the sense that life came from non-life"
Stopped watching right there. Some day I'll find a creationist video where the theory of evolution is represented in a scientifically correct manner.

It's the very beginning of evolution, and it's not the flaw of the video.
Flaw 1: We (as a spieces) don't lose DNA over time. This is a claim that he pulled straight out of his ass and made it sound like he had his own team of scientists backing him up. It's bullshit, and if you bought it, then good for you.
Flaw 2: He doesn't believe in evolution because he cannot observe something that takes at least thousands of years, and this from somebody who believes in a god and a period of instant creation which he hasn't seen.
As if that wasn't enough, we actually HAVE observed instances of evolution these very recent years, like spieces changing behavior to adapt to our civilization. For example, our country to change our pedestrian crossing singal sounds because it made the birds evolve a different song that wouldn't be drowned out by the signals. Evolution can be observed.

NOPE.jpg, stopped watching there.
The theory of evolution has NOTHING to do with where life came from, only what happened to it after it appeared.

Religion is for weak-minded gullable misfits who want to fit in with other weak-minded gullable misfits so they can feel normal and apart of something higher than themselves which in turn gives them a false sense of belonging and undeserved righteousness that they can use to feel better than another... in lamens terms, thier fuckin' retarded (fuck the typos, yes im mad)
Evolution has been observed and documented quite extensively. There are some things that can't be explained, but shit, we don't know exactly what happened millions of years ago, although we have a pretty good idea. We know where some species originated, where they traveled and how they bred. We can trace lineages by using the mitochondrial DNA, we know how today's species are connected and related to long extinct ones. We can observe evolution at work in certain organisms even now, and we observed the evolution of a bacteria, E. Coli, under experimental conditions, with every step carefully documented. And creationists refute the hard evidence, because it's just a "theory" and the bible is much more reliable. They ask for evidence, and when they get it, they just disregard it. Contrarily, you must never ask a creationist to prove the existence of god, or you're in a shitload of trouble.
It is like refuting the current atom theory, because the ancient greeks wrote books in which they claim otherwise.

Also, as the video states, it doesn't make sense that molecules would form together to make organisms, as everything in the cosmos tends to strive to chaos. But we can observe it, on a bigger scale: human organisation in families, tribes, nations, countries... Why do we organisations that help people, companies that specialize in producing food, healthcare, industry, police that keeps us safe?
Doesn't that remind anyone of the organisation on a cellular level? The different organelles, specialized in certain tasks? Production of energy-rich molecules, constructing and shaping proteins, decomposing potentialy dangerous molecules like peroxides? Enzymes and other signal molecules, with which different cells can communicate with eachother?
We did rise from small tribes to huge countries, that are reliant on certain organisations, just as a human body is reliant on the different organs to keep him alive and healthy.
We had the distinct advantage when we started using tools. We made our own weapons, when other creatures had to evolve long claws, strong muscles etc.
Is it more plausible that we started organising ourselves after being created from nothing by an all powerful being, or that we just continue a million year long cycle of organisation and specialisation?
Also, the mention that we don't have a single evidence of life being created from molecules, aka "nothing", as the video said, can be explained. In the beginning, there wasn't a shitload of higher creatures that could exterminate early organisms by will. There is a possibility that new life has been made, somewhere in the depths of the oceans, some unexplored regions, etc... And there is also the possibility that higher evolved life-forms (bacteria, viruses...) have simply consumed them before they could evolve. Hell, us humans have brought several different species to extinction, in order to secure our survival.
There's plenty of proof for people who want it, but there is no help for the ones that claim there is no proof, because it collides with their delusions of being "special", created by an almighty being with a certain purpose, not just a random occurence, a mutation.

The guy talks like an Indiana Jones narrative; not just fast but speeding, so as to not let people notice the gaping holes in the logic. Main difference is that Indiana Jones never claims to be more than entertainment. Fiction. It even says so on the disclaimer.
One classic fallacy of creationists, btw, is how they like to misrepresent evolution, strawman-style; "throw a hand grenade into a loose-type printing press, and then seriously expect to find a perfect print of the Encyclopedia Britannica on the ceiling from all the loose types sent flying around by the blast". (Facepalm)
Are there any actual Creationists in here? If so, ever done mathematics? Like, percentage? More precisely, compound interest? If so, let's try this thought experiment:
You have a bank account with .1% monthly interest (with monthly payments). You put $1000 in it, then you don't touch it for ages, just track the growth.
You'll see that from month to month, it doesn't change much (remember, .1% interest). It's only in the very long run the change becomes even visible, much less sizeable. It does add up to respectable amounts, but it takes damnably many months.
Same with evolution. You need to track changes over thousands of generations to see tangible changes. And then there's the little things like the reasons for favouring specific mutations in the first place (which ones has an easier time finding food, getting laid, avoiding predators, etc).
All of this takes way too much time for someone with ADHD. Ooh, shiny bible.
Tl;dr: Evolution does work, only slowly. Things take time. Just cos that particular little factoid doesn't get through the thick skull of people like that fast-talking clown there, doesn't make it any less true. Just makes him more dumb.

Yeah, he claims rational Christian scientists only use "observational science" that is science that they can test, repeat and use their five senses to observe.
Goodbye quantum mechanics, germ theory, general relativity and anything else not observable to and only the five senses.
Also, he constantly reiterates that life cannot arise from non-life. This whole this is a special pleading fallacy. because life is a short hand for a complex series of compounded chemical reactions.
He also says that the only proof scientists have of evolution is art. Same with the Bible.
Not only is he a fast talker but the animation is just as fast, confusing and distracting to the attention.
Actually, I can't be bothered to continue -- this is the same drivel I've heard over and over again.
I have no issue with whatever mythologised societal regulatory system individuals choose to participate in but they should know that this particular ~4000-year-old compendium of fables is not science. It is made up conjecture, anecdote and unverifiable claims. It cannot be a substitute for science. And it has never actually provided anything substantial to add to science.

Durr..... what other senses do scientists use while *they* test, repeat, and observe?
>implying ancestral species over time must be acquiring new genes in order for evolution to work
Also false, the amount of genes something has does not correlate to how advanced a species is
Unless of course the water flea is the most advanced species on the planet. In this case, I for one welcome our new water flea overlords. http://news.softpedia.com/news/Tiny-Crustacean-Features-Most-Genes-of-All-Animals-182569.shtml

Religion is a mental illness. The dead-kike-on-a-stick cult and its associated insane, self-hating, self-destructive memetic complex is one of the greatest barriers to real scientific progress we have in the West today.
There are many brands of barbour fusilier in the market today. Each of the brand promises to bring out something new to the customers.

Dude, the atom theory is COMPLETELY FAKE!
I was reading this old translated ancient Greek paper....
Anyway, I've heard and thought about this already, and have come to the conclusion that...
Sure non-life --> life doesn't make sense, so any explanation doesn't make sense either.
I don't really fucking care.
If I "go to hell" when I die, it's "where I belong" right christfags? So respect my choice, and I'll respect yours.
I don't want to talk much about it.
I'm not saying all religious people are retards, maybe a bit brainwashed, but a lot of them don't REALLY look into stuff, and the stupid ones tend to be the loudest.
Of course, i don't know a lot either, but at least i can admit it.
Actually non-life -> life makes perfect sense, it's just we're already at the -> life point, so having that event happening is impossible in many ways but the most fundamentally being that we don't fufill the non-life requirement, and that it's a process that takes several magnitudes more time than for how long history has been recorded.
